I started a plan to keep my running consistent and my pace faster. But you know what they say about the best laid plans. Today was supposed to be a short day for me, as I only had to run for 3 miles, but I guess I was a wee bit tired, and my pace was over the 13 minute pace I wanted to keep. Sigh…
I also started to keep a food log to track what I am eating. After using a few calculators, I decided to set my daily calorie limit at 1,700 calories/day. So far so good – in the past 3 days I have kept the calories to this level. At least something is working!
Your turn: Do you keep a food log?

The pace will come, just stick with it. Yes, I do keep a food log. I track my eating on MyFitnessPal.com. It’s the main reason I’ve been able to lose as much weight as I had. All my running was meaningless when I was eating junk.
